HRT 1 year anniversary!! (Top left to right)

Month 0 – I had just gotten my braids done for the last time and was so so excited about getting hormones a week later.

Month 3 – I was already feeling the effects of hormones as my emotions began to swing and boobs! My friend @collapsinggalaxies-scarredarms went to Long Beach Pride with me for the first time! It was so much fun and I had such a blast despite being really dysphoric for like an hour.

Month 6 – More changes and my grandmother relaxed my hair so I could finally begin styling it like I had dreamed when I was a child!! About here is when my body hair growth started to slow.

Month 8 – Halloween cat girl!!! There was a creative breakthrough on how i wanted to wear my hair! This is the first time I wore makeup and was myself around my cishet friend group. They, and tons of other friends I sent the picture too, showered me with compliments and it made so happy!

Month 9 – You can tell at this point how much I love the way I look by the thinning amount of time between my selfie posts. And wow my face was getting so soft. Whenever I visited my sister or saw my cousin, they would compliment how clear my skin was!

Month 10 – I really shoulda spaced these out lmao. But each picture was chosen by the significance of that point in my life. Here I began toying with new editing, poses, and I had enough self confidence to have a significant other for a while.

Month 12 (3/26/18) – So, here I am now, one year later. I feel like a lot has changed though it may be hard to tell in the pictures. My body has changed quite a bit, but I have learned an extraordinary amount in one whole year. I’ve learned about hair, makeup, fashion, dieting, and so much worldly knowledge. I’m finally beginning to live the dream I have had my entire life. I’ve never had so much confidence in my appearance and body.
