so i picked the name alice when i started transitioning, and about a week ago, i was at starbucks and the barrista making my drink had a “she/her/hers” pin and was visibly trans. her nametag said alice. so, when she handed me my drink, i leaned in and said, “i just wanted to say–i picked the name alice too” and she just totally lit up and said “hell yeah it’s the best name!” just thought i’d share a story of 2 alices to another
