@badndngirl and i went to pride and it was SO DAMNED GOOD
we loved it so much and i cried
there were so many, many beautiful people there
it was so lovely and healing
i hadn’t been to pride in about 15 years
and i think i’d forgotten that so many of us could be in the same place at once
it was magical
there were families with kids, and people with dogs, and young people
and i saw rainbow flags and trans flags and bi flags and pan flags
and i am SO happy we decided to go
just so we could bask in it for a couple hours
it was absolutely glorious
It was wonderful
It wasn’t too hot, it wasn’t too crowded (but it wasn’t like a ghost town either, there were lots of folks there)
And there was that adorable spontaneous dance circle of women and children that formed when they were playing Tracy Chapman
It was peaceful and chill and we ate the best sno cones I’ve ever had in my whole life and I’m so glad we got to go together ❤️💛🍑💚💙💜
i had such an amazing time with you
and we saw lots of fat people, and people with tattoos, and people with awesome hair
and SO MANY girls in snapbacks OMG
and you looked so perfect in your beautiful dress and everyone loved you
it was so special and now i’m crying again
❤️💛🍑💚💙💜
