I’ve come to the point where I want to start the process for bottom surgery. So far I have a consultation on April 10th. Surgery is incredibly expensive despite the insurance I have. Not only do I have to pay for part of the surgery (~$2000), anesthesia (~$2400), hair removal (~$900-$1200) but also living expenses for the 12 week recovery (~$7500). I am definitely going to need help, and anything helps.
I’m starting the fund at $5000 and adjusting according to how much I can save on my own and as more information about costs becomes available. I’ll also leave the fundraiser up until I’ve cleared my debts for the surgery once the final cost has been established.
